Ways to Give

Gifts of any size are significant to Falmouth Academy because they support our mission, people and programs. The following describes a wide range of options that can help you make a contribution that will maximize benefits to you and the school. In addition to cash, many other assets may be used to fund a gift, including appreciated stock, personal property, and retirement plan funds. Please review our Gift Acceptance Policy for detailed information.

  • Check

    Please make checks payable to Falmouth Academy and mail to: Development Office, Falmouth Academy, 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA 02540
  • Credit Card

    Make a gift by credit card using our online giving portal or by calling the Development Office.
  • Gifts of Stock

    By donating appreciated stocks directly to FA, you can avoid the capital gains tax that would be incurred if you sold the securities. Please contact the Development Office for stock transfer instructions and more information.
  • Matching Gift Programs

    Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that enhance a charitable contribution made by an employee. Not only does Falmouth Academy benefit from the increased donation, but the donor may qualify for a higher category of recognition when the gift is matched. Ask your human resources department for a matching gift form and send it in with your contribution.
  • Personal Property

    Personal property items that have appreciated in value, such as works of art, coin collections or antiques, may be given to Falmouth Academy as charitable gifts, subject to acceptance of the donation by the school. As a recipient of the gift, Falmouth Academy cannot provide appraisals. Please consult your financial advisor or tax professional for further advice, and contact the Falmouth Academy Development Office to learn more.
  • Planned Gifts

    Falmouth Academy encourages its donors to include Falmouth Academy in their bequests and legacy estate plans.  LEARN MORE
  • Recurring Giving

    Gifts of $10 or more per month may be debited from your bank account or charged to your credit card. Transfers occur on the 22nd of each month; you will receive a receipt for your total giving at the end of each calendar year. Please visit the online Recurring Gift Form to make your gift, or contact David Gallagher in the Development Office at with any questions.
  • Tribute Gifts

    You may make a gift in honor of a loved one, a student or graduate, or a favorite teacher. You may also wish to remember a loved one with a memorial gift. Please let us know the name of the person you wish to honor or remember when you make your gift; we will be happy to notify the honoree or the family of the loved one of your kind contribution.
