Transportation

Transporting students from 25 area towns

As a convenience to parents, Falmouth Academy makes bus transportation available to off-Cape, mid-Cape, South Coast, and Vineyard students.  The cost of transportation covers the full school year and is a charge incurred by the family. For this year’s fees associated with transportation, please visit the Tuition and Affordability page.

Bus transportation aligns with the school program, leaving Falmouth Academy at 4:40 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.  These times enable students to participate in sports or partake in other after-school programs.

The routes are determined by the needs of the students and may be modified as needed.
"Over my many years commuting on the boat to the university where I worked, I was continually impressed by the Vineyard kids on their way to and from Falmouth Academy. Their dedication to their studies was obvious ..."

"...More importantly, though,  I was taken aback by how well they watched out and cared for each other. I wanted my son, Kiric, to experience this wonderful sense of community and belonging. We haven’t been disappointed" —Tom Hallahan, Oak Bluffs
