Join us!

Falmouth Academy hosts a number of public events, some in partnership with other organizations, at various venues within its new Simon Center for the Arts. Join us for concerts, lectures, and presentations throughout the year. Due to Covid-19, all Falmouth Academy events have been canceled or postponed at least until May 1. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time. 

In Concert: Sons of Serendip August 15

Join us on August 15 at 7:30 PM for a concert by Sons of Serendipa unique Billboard Charting quartet consisting of a harpist, cellist, pianist and lead vocalist. The quartet was a finalist on Season 9 of America’s Got Talent, gaining popularity by offering fresh interpretations of popular music. Since the talent competition, Sons of Serendip has toured nationally, sharing their creative and emotionally stirring arrangements and original compositions with audiences all around the country. Some notable performances include the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, as well as collaborations with Cynthia Erivo, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops.

Falmouth Academy Community Series

Falmouth Academy inaugurated the Community Series in 2001 with Atlantic correspondent Robert Kaplan. Speakers have included NPR’s Bill Littlefield; former CBS Moscow Bureau chief, Dr. Beth Knobel; and Robert H. Pelletreau, former Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs. The lectures, which celebrate community, are partially funded by the Woods Hole Foundation. The Falmouth Academy Community Series is free and open to the public.

John Powers, a longtime sportswriter for The Boston Globe, will speak about sports, the upcoming Olympics and his new book, Fridays with Bill: Inside the Football Mind of Bill Belichick. In partnership with the Falmouth Newcomers Club.

Author and former faculty member Clare Beams will read from her debut novel, The Illness Lesson with a book signing to follow. After great acclaim for her book of short stories, We Show What We Have Learned, this novel was heralded as one of the most anticipated books of 2020. The New York Times Book Review called it "astoundingly original" and said it belonged on the shelf next to Margaret Atwood and Octavia Butler.

CoderDojo for kids

Cape Cod's first CoderDojo session was held at Falmouth Academy in January 2019 and returns to campus again this fall. CoderDojo is an open-source, volunteer-led movement running free coding clubs (Dojos) for children ages 7-17. Parents must be present with children during the session. Space is limited.

  • FA Auction Under the Stars: June 13

    June 13, 6:00  PM, Simon Center for the Arts

    Join us for Falmouth Academy's signature fundraising event "Auction Under the Stars."

    The event is open to the public and promises to be a lively evening of fun, food, and feverish bidding. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Fund for Falmouth Academy, which supports financial assistance for our students, faculty development, facilities enhancements, and special initiatives and projects at our school.

    The evening includes a live auction with a special "Fund-A-Need" opportunity, an open beer and wine bar plus specialty cocktail, passed heavy hors d'oeuvres prepared and served by Jacqueline's Catering, a performance by our own Jazz Band, and more!

    An online silent auction will open on April 4.

Robert Wyatt Presents

Falmouth Academy sponsors the Robert Wyatt Presents series. Steinway artist Robert Wyatt delights audiences with a rare blend of pianistic savvy and engaging storytelling that makes each performance a creative event. His recitals have garnered sterling reviews nationwide and are performed in a narrative performance format. Recent popular lectures include "The Beatles and Their Magical Mystery Tour," "Fred Astaire" and "Gershwin, By George!"

Skylark in Concert

Falmouth Chorale

Film Falmouth

Film Falmouth screens independent films monthly throughout the fall, winter and spring at Falmouth Academy. The series is supported in part by grants from the Cape Cod 5 Charitable Foundation Trust, the Falmouth Fund of the Cape Cod Foundation, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Chase the Turkey Race


The 24th Annual Chase the Turkey Race to benefit the Falmouth Service Center was held at Falmouth Academy on Thursday, November 28 at 8:30 AM.  More than $1500 was raised in 2019. Thank you to all who participated!
