LivingstonTaylor in Concert at Falmouth Academy
Singer/songwriter LivingstonTaylor returns to Falmouth Academy for an evening of live entertainmenton Saturday, August 26 at 7 PM in Falmouth Academy'sSimon Center for the Arts located at 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA.
Taylor is anairplane-flying, motorcycle-riding, singing storyteller, delighting audienceswith his charm for over 50 years. Described as “equal parts Mark Twain, collegeprofessor, and musical icon,” Livingston maintains a performance schedule ofmore than a hundred shows a year, delighting audiences with his charm and vastrepertoire of his 22 albums and popular classics.
He has written top-40hits recorded by his brother James Taylor and has appeared with Joni Mitchell,Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, and Jimmy Buffet. He is equally at home with arange of musical genres - folk, pop, gospel, jazz - and from upbeatstorytelling and touching ballads to full orchestra performances. In additionto his performance schedule, Livingston has been a full professor at BerkleeCollege of Music for 30 years.
