Counselor in Training (CIT)

Counselor in Training (CIT)

Our Summer Counselor in Training (CIT) program offers an engaging and hands-on experience for students ready to grow as leaders and role models. Through adventures along the Shining Sea Bike Path exploring the Falmouth seashore CITs will:
  • build a strong connection to the local community and environment
  • foster community, strengthen teamwork, and develop essential leadership skills
  • gain the skills, responsibility, and experience needed to confidentially lead, support, and inspire younger campers
Train in the morning
Join in on the fun in the afternoon

Counselors in Training (CITs) are welcome—and encouraged—to stay on campus in the afternoon to assist lead counselors during our Seafarer and Navigator sessions at no additional cost. During these sessions, CITs will:
  • gain hands-on leadership experience by supporting younger campers while also participating in activities
  • benefit from direct mentorship from experienced counselors as they develop their skills in a real camp setting
