Explore Falmouth Academy at Our November 7 Open House

What does it mean to attend a school where every student is known, where curiosity drives learning, and where opportunities extend far beyond the classroom?

Prospective students and families are invited to find out at Falmouth Academy's Fall Open House on Saturday, November 7, from 1–3 p.m.

Visitors will tour campus, meet students and faculty, and take part in interactive presentations that offer a closer look at the academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and community that define the FA experience.

See What Learning Looks Like at FA

Throughout the afternoon, families will have opportunities to explore different aspects of student life and learning, including:

Science in Action: Hear from FA students Mira Davis and Sophia Famely about their independent science research and learn how students pursue scientific questions through hands-on investigation and real-world experiences.

Clubs and Student Leadership: Meet student leaders during a special Blue Block session and discover how students shape school life through clubs, activities, and leadership opportunities.

Arts Across the Curriculum: Explore how the arts are woven into the FA experience, both in dedicated arts classes and across academic disciplines.

Mariner Athletics: Visit the gym, meet Athletic Director Tim Seston, and learn about FA's athletic teams and summer programs.

The Middle School Experience: Meet middle school faculty and administrators to learn how FA helps students in grades 7 and 8 build confidence, develop strong academic foundations, and discover new interests.

The High School Experience: Connect with upper school faculty and administrators to learn about academic opportunities, college counseling, and the independence and leadership students develop in grades 9–12.

A Small School with Big Opportunities

At Falmouth Academy, small classes mean every student has a voice. Teachers know their students well, classmates encourage one another, and students have the freedom to explore interests across academics, athletics, and the arts.

Located just minutes from Woods Hole and its world-renowned scientific institutions, FA offers opportunities for independent research and meaningful connections between classroom learning and the wider world.

The school serves students in grades 7–12 from Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, the South Coast, and the South Shore. Transportation options include bus service from Hyannis and along the Route 3 corridor, as well as ferry-connected transportation for Vineyard students. FA's new five-day boarding program offers another option for families living farther from campus.

More than half of Falmouth Academy students receive financial aid, and families can learn more about tuition assistance and the admissions process during their visit.

Come See for Yourself

Whether your child is preparing for middle school, considering a change for high school, or looking for a school where they can be challenged academically while feeling supported and known, the Open House is an opportunity to see what FA has to offer.
