List Detail

I have never tried programming before. Should I still register?

Absolutely! Cape Code's main goal is to open the world of programming to children ages 7-17.  Everyone, young and old, can learn to code. If you are new to coding you might want to try Scratch, a color-coded graphical programming language developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT.  Scratch is intuitive, simple to learn, and engaging. By dragging and combining coding blocks into the workspace you will be able to program race cars moving through a maze, launch rockets into space, and animate dancing letters on a stage. Scratch is also great for beginner readers.
