Throughout this engaging 3-week course, students will learn the fundamentals of playing the guitar in a fun and supportive environment. From understanding basic chords and strumming patterns to developing effective practice techniques, students will build a strong foundation that sets them up for success. By the end of the session, you’ll be able to play several recognizable songs and have the skills needed to continue your guitar journey with confidence. 🎸

About your Instructor:
Caroline Buccino is a music educator, musician, and visual artist based in Falmouth, Massachusetts. She currently serves as Arts Department Chair and Music Director at Falmouth Academy. Caroline holds a Master of Music in Oboe Performance with a concentration in Music in Education from the New England Conservatory, where she also earned her Bachelor of Music, and she holds a Massachusetts Provisional Teaching License in Music.
With over twenty years of experience, Caroline has taught students of all ages in schools, conservatories, and community programs and has collaborated with organizations including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the New School of Music, and Cape Cod Conservatory. She has also held leadership roles in music education, including Resident Director and Administrative Coordinator for the NEC Summer Jazz Lab Music Festival. In addition to her music career, Caroline is an active visual artist and founded Art by Buccino in 2024, where she creates acrylic collage and resin works.
