Arts Across the Curriculum
At Falmouth Academy, creativity is woven into every aspect of learning through our signature Arts Across the Curriculum program. Rather than studying art in the abstract, students are invited to create it—engaging multiple intelligences and exploring traditional subjects in tactile, sensory, and expressive ways. The result is learning that is deeply embedded—and often inspired.

Drama
Our drama department produces three plays each year, including two for the entire school community and one exclusively for middle school students.

The Simon Center for the Performing Arts, completed in 2017, features a music room, black-box theater, design shop, gallery space, and a state-of-the-art lighting and sound control room—a hub for student creativity and performance.
Recent student achievements include:
  • Music Festivals: 6 students selected for Senior and Junior District Music Festivals, 6 for Junior All-Cape Music Festival, and 11 for Senior All-Cape Music Festivals (2024–25), including the concertmaster.
  • Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Competition: 6 students earned awards in the 2024-25 Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Competition (1 Silver, 5 Honorable Mentions)
