What to Expect (2020-21)
Learning at Falmouth Academy During Covid-19
Falmouth Academy is carefully monitoring the ever-changing landscape of Covid-19 and is thoughtfully considering our responsibilities to our students, teachers, and families. Thanks to a combination of good planning, good fortune, and most importantly ongoing cooperation of our community, Falmouth Academy will continue with our on-campus instruction. However, we are fully prepared to transition to a hybrid or remote model as needed.
We hope the following information will help familiarize families with Falmouth Academy’s response to various Covid-19 scenarios. Families, particularly those who live on the Vineyard or beyond the immediate area, are encouraged to consider their own responses to these scenarios and to keep their emergency contact information updated as we all work together to keep our community healthy while we navigate the challenges associated with the pandemic.
If a student tests positive for Covid-19, parents or guardians must notify the school immediately and email Covid Response Team Coordinator Charlie Jodoin at (email@example.com) with the date of their positive test. Teachers should do the same and call Mr. Jodoin directly.
