Boys Varsity Lacrosse Shows Up

Falmouth Academy’s boys varsity lacrosse beat Dennis-Yarmouth (18-9) on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at their last home game of the regular season. This was a momentous way to celebrate a great season and highlight the contributions of the 11 seniors at Senior Night. The win helped clinch a first-ever MIAA State tournament bid for Falmouth Academy boys lacrosse. Seedings will be announced next week.

The school record for goals during a season in boys lacrosse was 62, set by Lyon Van Voorhis in 2011. Senior Cody Feldott broke the record in a win against Bishop Stang on May 14, 2022.  A few games later his teammate Jack Butler also eclipsed Van Voorhis' record and moved into second place in school history. Currently, Feldott has 74 goals for the season and Butler has 69, respectively number 2 and 4 in the state.

Coach Mike Earley commended another senior for his tremendous contribution to this season. Jack DiFalco Wheeler is a face-off specialist according to Earley, winning 75% of his face-offs and scoring 10 goals and 21 assists.

These three captains have shown great leadership on and off the field noted Earley.

Congratulations on a great season and post-season.
Let's go, Mariners!
