Elective Growth & Discovery

Explore your interests

For 65 minutes, students and faculty step beyond traditional academic subjects to explore an eclectic variety of activities including art, music, service, beekeeping, farm and garden, coding, and so much more.

During the elective period, formerly known as "The Fourth Period," students come together to collaborate, create and engage different parts of their brains.

Our over 40+ electives allow for a breadth and depth of choice for all students and are required every year, from 7th through 12th grade.
The core elective offerings such as studio arts and music are constants but changes are made yearly to give students more opportunities for growth and engagement.  Please look through the sample of offerings below and schedule a tour to learn more about what is offered this year.
