On Tuesday, January 9th, Kendall Currence '18 set the all-time scoring record for boys or girls on Cape Cod taking over the top spot held for nineteen years by Sarah Beninghoff, a Falmouth Academy alumna.
On January 24th, Currence broke through the next record-breaking milestone by scoring her 2,000th career point in a game against Barnstable High School. She takes her place among a small group of skilled ball players to ever reach this milestone – only sixty-eight players in state history – and she is the first from Cape Cod. Falmouth Academy Coach Gus Adams remarked that Kendall is an amazing player and, "that record is going to stay for a long time."
Earlier this year, Currence signed a letter of intent to play Division 1 basketball for Northeastern University next fall (see above).
