Falmouth Academy Sports Camp      
9:00-3:00 p.m., ages 6 to 12, $325 - or - 
12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 6-12, roll into Sports from Special for All Day $458

Play a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, and tennis and learn the   fundamentals through play and good sportsmanship. The class is designed to help build confidence and prepare players for the next level. Campers will be put into groups depending on their age.

Fairies and their Houses with Abagail Bumpus

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $295


Do you like fairies? Explore the art of building their houses using found objects on campus, in the woods, and at the beach while learning some of the folklore about the wonderful beings! Students will collect a treasure bag to make fairy houses at home.

 

Outdoor Survival Skills (session D) with Guy Knapp

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $295


Students will spend an adventure-packed week in Beebe Woods. Skills learned include orienteering, foraging, outdoor safety, fire building, and shelter-construction. Each participant will make their own survival kit to take home. It’s all about survival!

 

Ceramics in the Studio for Two Weeks (week 1 of 2) with Courtney Franks

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $550


This two-week ceramics class will be an exploration of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Students can look forward to experimenting and discovering new techniques and creating pieces that are both functional and beautiful.

 

FA Summer Music Camp: Strings, Woodwinds & Brass with Caroline Buccino and Carly Senna

9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12 (or 6-12 as you had written), $495


Full-day FA Music Camp is excited to offer a new music program featuring woodwinds, strings and brass. The string program will explore the fundamentals of chamber music with a focus on communication, sound production, and interpretation. In this one-week intensive program, students with two or more years playing experience will participate in small group trainings and jam sessions, perform in master classes, and attend a faculty concert opening night.

 

Crazy Cooking for Kids with Abagail Bumpus

12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $250


Cooking with the sun? Making your own ice cream? Being silly with food? Check, check, and check! Students will have fun cooking in less conventional ways.

 

How it Works with Guy Knapp

12:30-3:00 p.m., ages 7-12, $250


Have you ever wondered how a light bulb works? What about an engine? Explore the world of machines and technology, and build your own simple steam or heat engines to take home.

Advanced Robotics with Nathan McGuire
12:30 p.m., ages 9-14, $250

This class porvides a thorough exploration of robotics engineering concepts, prototyping, hardware and software development, and conrtol theory through open-ended challenges. For instance, students might play capture the flag with their hand-built bots and strategize how to operate and win. On the last day, students test their skill and give a final demonstration for their families and friends. A basic knowledge of robotics is required for this class. It is possible to roll from FUNdamenddtals into Advanced Robotics.
