Scientific curiosity starts in the classroom, then travels to places in the natural world where the processes of biology, chemistry and physics occur. From woodland expeditions to mountain excursions to ocean voyages, our students study science where it happens.
Our proximity to world-renowned scientific institutions creates unique opportunities for our students. We place interns in Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) laboratories every year. Our annual Science Fair is no ordinary exhibit. Student research is judged by over one hundred local scientists, many of whom have mentored other students on their projects, and our extraordinary results speak for themselves.
