Credit Card
To make your gift via credit card, you may call our Development Office at (508) 457-9696 with your card number and expiration date. FA accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that enhance a charitable contribution made by an employee. Not only does FA benefit from the increased donation,
but also a donor may qualify for a higher category of recognition when the gift is matched. Ask your human resource department for a matching gift form and send it in with your contribution.
Pension Protection Act
Under the Pension Protection Act, which expires December 31, 2007, you may be able to transfer funds up to $100,000 from your traditional or Roth IRA tax-free to Falmouth Academy. Click here to
open a sample letter to your IRA administrator.
Gifts of Stock
By donating appreciated stocks directly to FA, you can avoid the capital gains tax that would be incurred if you sold the securities. Ask your broker to transfer securities to the FA account at UBS
Financial Services, Inc., 60 North Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. Account #HQ21328-51; DTC #0221.
Planned Giving: The J.K. Lilly III Society
With a little planning, your gift to FA can help achieve your financial, philanthropic and estate planning goals. Planned gifts give back, allowing you to take sizable income, capital gains and estate
deductions on your taxes. They can provide income for you and your family for life. And planned gifts can be much larger than other gifts, so you can leave a legacy like that of Josiah K. Lilly, who
ensured the future of Falmouth Academy by donating the 34 acres of land where the school sits today.
Honorary or Memorial Gifts
You may wish to make a gift in honor of a loved one, a student or graduate, or favorite teacher. You may also wish to remember a loved one with a memorial gift. Please let us know the name of the person
you wish to honor or remember when you make your gift; we will be happy to notify the honoree or the family of the loved one of your kind contribution.
Tangible Personal Property Items that have appreciated in value, such as books, works of art, coin collections or antiques, may be given to Falmouth Academy as charitable gifts. The charitable deduction depends on the appraised value and whether or not the gift is related to our tax-exempt purpose.
