Mission
As a community extension of Falmouth Academy´s own academically rigorous program,
FA2 is dedicated to serving the vibrant adults in the Cape Cod area
who are interested in a rich intellectual experience and lively discussion.
Courses
FA2 courses are held in the fall. They will vary from semester to semester
but will concentrate on the arts and sciences and include subjects such as Chinese art and culture,
European history, classical music, and deep-sky astronomy. Click here for current course descriptions and registration information.
Faculty
FA2 courses will draw on the extensive talents, knowledge, and interests of Falmouth Academy´s outstanding, nationally recognized faculty.
Classroom Experience
FA2 is an opportunity to learn with like-minded adults and discuss in depth these topics in the arts and sciences that you always wished you
could explore without the exams. Continuing the FA tradition of no back rows, FA2 classes are designed for round-table discussion and are limited in size.

Like the institution itself, the people at Falmouth Academy are deeply involved in the wider community:
as volunteers, public office holders, board members, and hosts for community programs in sports,
the arts, and music. We are committed to continuing that tradition. Falmouth Academy for Adults is one more way that we can connect.
FA teachers are dynamic, thoughtful adults whose experience, curiosity, and fondness for good conversation make
them interesting people to spent time with, inside or outside of the classroom.
They are an imaginative group, and I am pleased that they have this chance to share some of their talents
and passion for teaching with the wider community. I think you will enjoy being with them as much as I do.
