Every year, funds provided by generous donors to the Fund for Falmouth Academy are immediately put to work at Falmouth Academy, ensuring a meaningful and transformative educational experience for our students. This unrestricted fund supports the work of our dedicated faculty, provides aid for our students, enables our sports teams to compete across the Cape and students to find their voice in rhetoric class or chorus rehearsal. It helps pay for critical infrastructure improvements and provides support when unexpected expenses or exciting opportunities arise.
Like most independent schools, proceeds from the Fund help bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the full cost of educating our students. Currently the Fund provides seven percent of the school's annual operating costs. From the moment the doors open in the fall, approximately $1,700 dollars of every child's learning experience is supported by gifts to the Fund for Falmouth Academy.

The act of giving itself carries an added bonus for Falmouth Academy. Your contribution to the Fund for Falmouth Academy increases a key fundraising benchmark: the "Participation Rate." For instance, the higher participation rates climb, the greater our advantage as we compete for grants from foundations and other philanthropic organizations. These funds have tremendous power to benefit the entire Falmouth Academy community, and your participation holds the key.
The Falmouth Academy Senior Parent Gift is an important part of the Fund for Falmouth Academy. Parents and families of the graduating class have collectively dedicated their donations to support a key project or initiative, to support teacher professional development, and to build endowment for the long-term benefit of the school, the faculty and its students.
